HOW TO INSTALL A DEFEND RIDE CO. FRONT FENDER

How to install a mountain bike front fender.

- What you'll need.

• A Defend Ride Co. Mountain Bike Front Fender 
• 4 Zip Ties 
• Flush Cuts 
• Razor Blade

- Using the razor blade, cut the hanger off.

- Determine which pre-cut holes you would like to use, holes 1 and 2 will raise the fender up while using holes 1 and 3 will lower the fenders ride height.

- Thread the zip ties into the MTB fender with the zip tie head towards the rear of the fender.

- Next, using the pre-cut fold lines, fold the fender to give it it's shape.

- You can fold down the duster flaps at this point.

- Insert the fender into the forks making sure your zip ties go under the crown.

- Zip tie the top two ties to the crown.

- Leave them a little loose for adjustments.

- Now zip tie the two side ties making sure to go under the brake cable.

- Make sure the fender is straight and then firmly tighten down the zip ties.

- Using the flush cuts remove the excess tie.

- Depending on your preference you can run the duster flaps wither up or down.

- Now you are all set to hit the trails!
